adding firewall rules for the subnetworks and testing VM instances communication from different subnets would definitely be good to be available in this lab. You say that there's no time left, but for myself and a couple of my colleagues, we had 40 minutes left of the lab. Also, please bear in mind that you're advises are contradicting networking common sense... you are mentioning that it is mandatory to have firewall rules to connect two subnetworks. Actually it is mandatory to have ROUTES (in a router) to connect two subnets.... but the routes are provided by default when you create the subnet. But you don't specify that.

This is an overly-simple lab, and it's exceptionally bad for it to be rated "Expert" when the "Fundamental" level "Networking 101" lab does all that this one does and so much more. Also, mixing the commands and output into the same boxes confounds the copy-to-clipboard button.

This seems redundant of Networking 101 lab. Networking 101 lab does much better job explaining network concepts. I feel like this one in unnecessary when one has already taken Networking 101
