PUB/SUB Project is not maven it's gradle so you must check build.gradle and run it with gradle bootRun instead of ./mvnw -q spring-boot:run Please correct

creating the message processor wasn't working, it created a gradle project for some reason (tried 3 times). Only after specifying "maven-project" as the project type, it worked.
