I like the *idea* of this lab, but it didn't quite go far enough. We only TESTED the lambda that posts to Slack. We should have gone forward and created a second lambda that raises an exception so we could actually see it was all wired up correctly. I tried to do this step myself, and it did not work as expected. I think there is a problem with the parsing of the SNS message that makes it work differently than how it was tested. Unfortunately, I'm not very good at Python and was not able to determine the actual problem in the amount of time offered by the lab.
