Good tutorial. I like the fact that Lambda transformation function was simple and well explained what it does. 4 stars instead of 5 as pre-defined Lab-Lambda-Role role does not allow Lambda to write to CloudWatch and when looking at Monitoring tab in Lambda it shows: Your function doesn't have permission to write to Amazon CloudWatch Logs. To view logs, add the AWSLambdaBasicExecutionRole managed policy to its execution role.

1. Please add support for JAVA and Scala 2. Cloudwatch permission is not added to Lambda, so you cant see lambda logs

Nice example. Wanted to add a dynamodb table to try additional but no privs, but I guess that makes sense.
