it's a really really basic introduction to Lambda, I think this lab would benefit greatly from multiple examples. Use a template to start, then don't use a template and get in to a bit more detail. After doing this lab I'm not confident that I could create my own custom lambda function.

The time delay on the metrics makes it difficult to make sure the function is working. If there is any other test mechanism to prove the system is working that'd probably be better. Also, there is a permission error when configuring the lambda that is distracting.

Never got a chance to get started, it kept telling me that my credentials didn't match and that I needed to log myself out to log in as myself.?
