There appear to be a missing step. The Custom404ErrorPage.html does not seem to work despite uploading the file to S3 and making it public, I get the following error when I browse the site http://d11wjj17ec6y3g.cloudfront.net/Page.html Not Found The requested URL /Custom404ErrorPage.html was not found on this server. However, when I browse the page directly from S3 https://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/qls-973657-34b7982902f0e924-s3bucket-121g4gxrzzk15/Custom404ErrorPage.html I get the actual result I was looking for This is not the page you are looking for!

There's an error between step 40-41, in that an identity needs to be selected.

Cloudfront distro took over 30 mins and still hadn't deployed, finally just gave up.

Very nice lab the only downside the the amount of time cloud front takes to deploy so a lot of siting and waiting.

Lots of waiting, I know the "laws of physics" but this lab at least offered stuff to do while waiting for cloud formation to complete and cloudfront to complete!
