Rubbish lab, wasted 1 credit for nothing. Could not complete b/c directory /dev/disk/by-id/ could not be found, despite following instructions to a tee. Disappointing.

Free qwiklab is always great. Two observations. 1. This is the first qwiklab that I actually have to manually set the project id using the “gcloud config list project.” Not sure if it’s intentional or not, but we will get the following error if we didn’t set the project id before creating the VM as per lab instruction. ERROR: (gcloud.config.list) The project property is set to the empty string, which is invalid. 2. In the “Finding the persistent disk in the virtual machine “ section, bullet point 4. There is a puntuation typo at “You found the file, the default name is: scsi-0Google_PersistentDisk_persistent-disk-1.” Either the end period in the persistent-disk-1 is not needed or the gray highlight wasn’t terminated properly. trying to read/write to the disk or showing how/why that may not be possible would be useful to be exposed to, especially in a multi node/instance environment, where they're all connecting to the persistent disk
