It was cool to set up a word press blog this way, since I did it manually when I set up mine. It was awesome to have it done in about 5 minutes. I would like to see a version 2 of this with a less trivial example with SQS/Lambda/EC2/etc. I'm going to take the CloudFormation designer one and perhaps what I want is there...
