This lab is terrible. exposing the service with kubectl expose deployment hello-server --name=hello-service --port=$PORT --target-port=8080 --type=LoadBalancer is perfectly fine, but the lab doesn't recognize this as being exposed (while it's accessible over the internet); I lost most of my time investigating this, finally realizing that a simple kubectl expose deployment hello-server --port=8081 --type=LoadBalance would do, the extra target-port is perfectly valid but makes the lab check fail. For the last part, it's ever worse. I keep on getting "Please create the managed instance group with 2 nginx web-server." with no more details. I tried with instance groups created with the gcloud cli and console, with or without a pool, with different names (starting with nucleus- or nginx-), nothing seems to do the trick. There is obviously something that the lab check expects that is not there but it wouldn't say what, and I feel like it's irrelevant since I had two instances running in a managed instance group with green http health-checks which is what is asked for.
